This 8 inch by 10 inch acrylic painting is done on canvas panel. The background consists of a sunset that blends from blue to yellow to red. The middle ground shows the the silhouettes of the landscape with black paint with the lights around campus have turned on with white little dots of paint. As you approach the foreground the sidewalk is visible along with a set of stairs. The grass and the sidewalk have a cool tone to them with minimal lighting due to the time of day the painting is set to be taking place at. The trees create more movement throughout the painting due to the sky peeping through the holes made with the branches overlapping. This Sunset on campus painting is based off of the Indiana University campus.*
