This 10 inch by 8 inch oil painting is done on a canvas panel. The image painted is a portrait. The bright colors were used to see how different colors pop out to the eye more or less depending on how they are layered and applied next to each other. The image depicts a lamp to the right side and this then leads to the chair that she is sitting on. She is leaning to the left side while also holding a pillow on her lap.*
