This 9 inch by 12 inch acrylic painting is done on a canvas panel. The image depicted is a landscape of Utah with a surreal geometric sky. The landscape is based off of an image taken at the Arches National Park in Utah. The colors used are very natural and accurate to the image with the use or oranges, browns and greens. The sky or background is a swirl pattern. Within the swirl is diagonal stripes of blue with alternating areas of orange checkered pattern. This gives the painting a sense of movement in the sky.*
